Hints on how to make a turtle necklace?

I have a knife, string, beads, wood chips, paper, paint, colored sand, tape, and I'm going shopping for glue later. I need it by next thursday, no asking why i need it please. Any way to make it, step by step instructions, and i have a turtle design already. I have bad hand-eye coordination and can't freehand or draw the turtle so any tips including stencils would be hot... heh.
