4 month old kitten likes to play in feces help?

my 4 month old kitten likes to sit in the litter box. also when we cage him he will poop then play in it by morning the cage is smeared in a coat of poop and he is covered. he also has a nasty smelling fluid that is coming from his rectum. plz help
