My husband and I waited to have until after we were married?

We just recently got married and we were virgins up until that. Whenever we have it either hurts or I get a UTI. The last time my husband wanted to have I turned him down because I was just getting over a UTI. Now he thinks that I hate him and don't want to have anymore. How do I let him know that I do want to have ? Whenever I tell him anything he thinks that I'm just telling him what he wants to hear. Then he starts pouting about what a bad person he is. What would you do in my situation? Also, what are some things that I can do to help me feel more y and confident in the bedroom without embarring myself?
