But after much research I have found that the most reliable source for the popularity to be Wikipedia,which states that in 2002 a poll discovered that 70% of Spaniards express no interest in bullfighting,whilst 30% express some or a lot.In comparison to the figures from twenty years ago in which only 46% of Spaniards expressed no interest they show that overall the popularity of bullfighting has definitely decreased.Also my research found that these figures considering the popularity to be gauged on the view of Spain as a whole of Spain can not be trusted as its reputation widely varies throughout the country.Andalusia and Madrid are places where it is very popular with the majority of the inhabitants showing interest in this tradition,as is the case throughout central and southern Spain whilst it is very unpopular in Galicia and the Balearic islands.
