Despite what you see in Movies TV or the news Mexico is actually very Modern and has a lot of industry, they have a lot of ports for transfer across the pacific and has strong trading with Asia mainly India & Japan, there are a lot of Japanese people in some costal cities in Mexico more than some U.S costal cities. It's now becoming a strong partner with China plus it's a good transport road between U.S and South America.
