Knee Pain?!???

ok so i hurt my foot 9 days ago and i went to the doctor two days ago. The doctor told me to get an MRI , and it was probably something with my menisicus, or ACL. The pain is increasing a lot!! Should I be on crutches? Should i use a brace? Thx
